Come on Baby Drive My Fire?

Ok, so in a vague attempt to have a good time this weekend, I drove to Nashville, TN to hang out with Bastard Face and Special K. In the process, my beloved '95 Nissan Altima with the super useful power mirrors option, proceded to catch on fire. Luckily I had the foresight to put it out with my refreshing Sobe beverage. After starring underneath the hood for about an hour, I decided to just continue driving and eventually made it to my destination.

The weekend was spent watching three really bad movies including: The Order (a Jean-Claude Van Damme film that was sort of comical to watch), The Chronicles of Riddik (a Vin Diesel film with nothing that remotely resembles a plot), and an unknown film that we watched in a Vietnamese restaurant while eating delicious, delicious Pho (yummm...flavor country).

We also saw one really good movie, Unleashed (a.k.a. Danny the Dog). All I can say is wow, if you haven't seen this movie go ahead and watch it. It's a great action film with some really intense fight scenes. And Jet Li's half dozen or so lines were delivered with such skill and grace that if alive today would literally make Shakespeare weep at their sheer beauty.

Anyway after abandoning my car at a closed salvage yard, Dan and Kobe were kind enough to drive me to the airport on Sunday where I rented a car and drove home. All in all, I'd say the weekend was a success.
